ALMA (WQOW) – After working hard all summer, Pepin/Alma football players are hoping to have fun on Friday nights this fall.

The Eagles feature experience, strength and skill as they prepare for the 2025 season and a potential four-peat as champions of the Dairyland Conference.

Pepin/Alma is poised for another strong season thanks to a dedicated summer in the weight room, record numbers of participation and a sizeable amount of returning experience

Mike Olson said 48 players are on the roster this year, a record under his watch. The Eagles are led by a large group of seniors.

Eight starters return on each side of the ball. Pepin/Alma will continue its traditional run-first offense, but hopes to be able to throw the ball effectively.

‘Details matter’ is the team’s motto this season as it tries to make a deeper playoff run.

Pepin/Alma scrimmages in Clear Lake on Friday, then opens the season at Elmwood/Plum City next Thursday.
