NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Saints drew the highest Nielsen viewership rating in the NFL during Week 1 of the 2025 preseason.
The game, broadcast locally on FOX 8 and regionally across the Gray Media Network, secured the No. 1 spot with a 23.5 household rating—up 10% from last year’s preseason opener. Reaching one in four households in the New Orleans market, the broadcast underscores the Saints’ powerful regional presence and unwavering fan engagement.
Saints fans can catch the action again this Sunday, August 17, when the team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars at 12:00 PM in the Caesars Superdome. The game will be broadcast live on FOX 8 and the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network starting with the pregame show at 11:30 a.m.
