The Los Angeles Rams‘ 2025 season can go in a few different directions depending on how the rest of the preseason unfolds.

On its surface, this is a team that can go toe-to-toe with the defending NFC and Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. The Rams retained their best players and added additional weapons on offense in Davante Adams and Terrance Ferguson. The defense, too, is developing with one of the best young defensive lines in the league.

However, the health of Stafford and the offensive line is a major concern. And those issues could trickle into the regular season and affect the Rams’ ability to reach their potential.

Sports Illustrated’s Conor Orr went through every single game for the 2025 regular season and predicted the Rams will go 10-7. He has the Rams starting off poorly, again, with a 3-4 record heading into the bye week before finishing on a three-game winning streak.

Let’s hope the Stafford injury is the red herring of the offseason, though if it is not, we have the potential of a total exercise-imploding injury that can reshape the NFC West. I have early losses to Houston—DeMeco Ryans could bring the heat on Stafford, knowing his mobility is challenged—and Jacksonville. Who else with a bad back doesn’t love a cross-the-globe flight to London and a 6:30 a.m. start time in your home market?

Other highlights include: A Week 3 win over the Eagles, two losses to the San Francisco 49ers, two wins against the Seattle Seahawks and 1-1 vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

Here is Orr’s full prediction:

Week 1: vs. Texans – Loss

Week 3: vs. Eagles – Win

Week 5: vs. 49ers – Loss

Week 6: @ Ravens – Loss

Week 7: vs. Jaguars – Loss

Week 9: vs. Saints – Win

Week 10: @ 49ers – Loss

Week 11: vs. Seahawks – Win

Week 12: vs. Buccaneers – Win

Week 13: @ Panthers – Win

Week 14: @ Cardinals – Loss

Week 15: vs. Lions – Loss

Week 16: @ Seahawks – Win

Week 17: @ Falcons – Win

Week 18: vs. Cardinals – Win

A torrid end to the season should catapult the Rams into the postseason, as their record would be one game behind the 49ers’ 11-6 record. L.A. would be the No. 5 seed in the playoffs and play … the Eagles in the Wild Card round. Wouldn’t that be a wild playoff rematch?
