The Seattle Seahawks are gearing up for their second preseason game of the summer. Seattle is still in search of their first exhibition win, after tying the Las Vegas Raiders 23-23 last week. Kansas City is also seeing their first win, having dropped their preseason opener 20-17 to the Arizona Cardinals.
Head coach Mike Macdonald indicated the Seahawks’ first team offense will take the field tonight, but it remains to be seen how long they will play. On the flip side, it is not likely the 12th Man will get to see Patrick Mahomes in action. If he does play, it will be the first time since his rookie campaign in 2018 playing at Lumen Field, which was a 38-31 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.

Key Seahawks starters NOT playing
While head coach Mike Macdonald mentioned several starters would see action tonight vs the Chiefs, that does not include them all. Several big names, especially along Seattle’s defensive front, will not be playing.
Sam Darnold, Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe take the field
The trio of Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks walked through the tunnel and onto the field during pregame warmups. Tonight will be the first opportunity to see Sam Darnold live in a game.
