The Vikings head into the second week of their preseason with momentum after a dominant showing against the Texans in their opener.

Now against the Patriots, the Vikings will continue to be without some prominent starters, including J.J. McCarthy, who is now shut down. That makes the quarterback situation a must-watch as the team continues to decide on their backup for the position.
