After missing out on the playoffs the last three seasons and finishing 2024 at the bottom of the NFL, the Tennessee Titans hope to change their fortunes in 2025 under a new front office and second-year head coach Brian Callahan.
The good news is that the Titans will have a much easier road in 2025 than in previous seasons. Per Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis, the Titans have the eighth-easiest schedule in the NFL. Sharp calculates schedule strength based on projected 2025 win totals from Vegas oddsmakers.
By contrast, the Titans were scheduled to face the sixth-most difficult strength of schedule in the NFL during the 2024 season, which ended with a 3-14 record and the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.Â
After landing quality veterans during free agency and filling some needs with a solid draft class, Tennessee is headed in the right direction. They should benefit from a weaker schedule behind new quarterback Cam Ward.Â
In the AFC South, the Houston Texans have the eighth-hardest schedule, while the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts have the sixth-easiest and 12th-easiest slates, respectively.
