Bill Belichick spent 2024 doing a slew of media appearances between hosting podcasts, doing a media tour for his book, “The Art of Winning” and doing weekly appearances on “The Pat McAfee Show” and the “ManningCast.

But the UNC coach will be bringing “The Patriot Way” to the Tar Heels in more ways than just showing his new team old him of the New England Patriots to prepare for the 2025 season.

According to Reuters, Belichick won’t make weekly appearances on “Carolina Football Live” (formerly “Mack Brown Live”) — the school’s weekly coach’s radio show.

Belichick will appear on the first episode that’s set to air on Aug. 27, but won’t make regularly scheduled appearances. UNC general manager and Belichick’s good friend, Michael Lombardi, will headline the show each week. He’ll also be joined by assistant coaches and players, per Reuters.

Many college football coaches have a contractual obligation to appear on their school’s weekly radio shows. But not Belichick.

His contract stipulates only that he make appearances “as reasonably requested by the University.

The 2025 season will be Belichick’s first as a college coach. During his 24-year run in New England, Belichick seldom did media appearances outside of his postgame interviews, weekly radio hits and halftime interviews from the sidelines.
