Beyond the Super Bowl (such as in 2025), the FOX NFL Sunday crew typically broadcasts exclusively from the network’s cutting-edge Los Angeles studio.
However, this won’t be the situation for Week 2 of the 2025 NFL Season following confirmation that the acclaimed lineup of Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Michael Strahan will broadcast live from Kansas City for a Super Bowl LIX rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The network revealed this development through a promotional clip showcasing the network’s matchups for the opening two weeks of the season.
The team will operate without Jimmie Johnson this year. Last March, the 81-year-old announced his departure from television following 31 intermittent years.
With his exit, Gronkowski received a promotion to permanent crew member. Additionally, NFL supporters have recently learned the staggering total expense to stream every game this season.
Bradshaw, 76, also faced speculation about his potential retirement throughout most of last year. Speaking with the Mirror US from press row before the Super Bowl, he discussed his future television plans.
“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there… I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76,” he disclosed. “Okay, so it’s a young man’s game. I get that. Everybody wants the new.”
FOX will presumably deploy its fresh FOX NFL Kickoff squad, starring host Charissa Thompson alongside analysts Charles Woodson, Julian Edelman, Cooper Manning, and Colin Cowherd, to Kansas City. The star of the FOX team, former quarterback Tom Brady, will be in the broadcast booth.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion is gearing up for the second season of his monumental 10-year, $375 million contract with the network.

Brady recently made an appearance on the Joel Klatt podcast where he reflected on his first year in broadcasting. “I thought I was prepared, because I had done a lot of research and I had a year to prepare and a lot of practice games,” Brady confessed.
“But there’s absolutely nothing that I did that could really prepare me for what I was about to endure. And there were a lot of growing pains through the year for me, just in terms of prep and, obviously, going on-air, and there’s things you messed up and there’s things that you make mistakes.”
Brady and play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt are set to head to East Rutherford, NJ, for Week 1 to commentate a 1 pm ET NFC East divisional clash between the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants.
