Jim Harbaugh won’t be returning to college football anytime soon after the NCAA came down with a punishment for the University of Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal. He’s barred from coaching at the college level for 14 years, not that he has any plans of leaving the Los Angeles Chargers in the near future.

Harbaugh suffered his first loss of the 2025 preseason on Saturday when the Los Angeles Rams took down the Chargers, 23-22, and the Rams capitalized on the opportunity to troll the former National Champion coach of the Wolverines.

They posted on social media that they’re “sign-ing off” and shared a photo of Rampage holding a sign with the title of the Wolverines’ fight song, Hail to the victors.”

It was brilliant, really. And well-timed after the NCAA’s ruling.

The Rams have a great social media team and this is just their latest win. It was a perfect way to playfully troll Harbaugh despite the significant punishment that was handed down.
