There’s some great news concerning the health of veteran Seattle Seahawks pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu.

Nwosu started training camp on the PUP list following offseason knee surgery. It was another injury-riddled 2024 for Nwosu, who sprained his MCL in preseason and missed much of the regular season with a torn quad muscle. He also suffered a season-ending torn pectoral muscle in 2023. After a breakout 2022 in which he recorded a career-high 9.5 sacks and was an important run defender, Nwosu has played in just 12 games over the past two seasons.

Nwosu’s return means that only Johnathan Hankins (PUP, back) and Rylie Mills (NFI, knee) are on an injured list while also counting toward the 90-man active roster. Mills is not going to be ready for the start of the season, so the focus is on whether Hankins will soon follow Nwosu off PUP.
