Arizona Cardinals preseason week 2 snap counts, observations
Quarterbacks
Jacoby Brissett (16/33), Clayton Tune (33/67)
Did not play: Kyler Murray
After a five-play possession to start the game, Brissett then led the Cardinals to their only score on an 11-play, 67-yard drive that ended with a 16-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Simi Fehoko. He had a 17-yard completion to wide receiver Xavier Weaver on third-and-7 and then continued the drive with a 2-yard run on fourth-and-1 from the Broncos 23-yard line. He was 5-for-5 for 49 yards in the possession and didn’t play again.

Tune completed 13 of 20 passes for a mere 56 yards (2.8 yards per attempt, 4.3 per completion). There were two 10-yard plays to running backs Michael Carter and DeeJay Dallas and the other 11 completions were seven yards or fewer, totaling 36 yards. Running backs were 6-for-29 (Carter 4-18, Dallas 1-10, Bam Knight 1-1); tight ends 4-for-12 (Josiah Deguara 2-9, Travis Vokolek (2-3); and wide receivers 3-for-15 (Tejhaun Palmer 1-6, Fehoko 1-5, Bryson Green 1-4).
Running backs
Michael Carter (23/47), Emari Demercado (20/41), Bam Knight (5/10), DeeJay Dallas (1/2)
Did not play: Trey Benson, James Conner
Carter had a 5-yard run, but seven other carries totaled only five yards. He added 19 yards on five receptions. Demercado played as much as he did because of his ability as a pass protector. The running backs totaled 29 yards on 15 attempts.
Wide receivers
Xavier Weaver (31/63), Tejhaun Palmer (30/61), Simi Fehoko (30/61), Andre Baccellia (17/35), Bryson Green (13/27), Nate McCollum (6/12)
Did not play: Kelly Akharaiyi, Greg Dortch, Marvin Harrison Jr., Zay Jones, Michel Wilson
Injured reserve: Trishton Jackson, Quez Watkins

Weaver had the key 17-yard first down, but also had an early drop. One deep ball from Tune should have drawn a pass interference flag. Fehoko had two catches for 21 yards and the touchdown.
Tight ends
Josiah Deguara (25/51), Travis Vokolek (23/47), Elijah Higgins (15/31), Oscar Cardenas (6/12)
Did not play: Trey McBride, Tip Reiman (played only on special teams)
Higgins wasn’t targeted, while Deguara (2-for-9) and Vokolek (3-6) combined for 15 yards on five catches.
Offensive linemen
RT Jeremiah Byers (49/100), C Sincere Haynesworth (46/94), LG Nick Leverett (43/88), LT Josh Fryar (36/73), RG Jon Gaines II (33/67), RG Royce Newman (16/33), LT Jake Curhan (13/27), LG McClendon Curtis (6/12), C Hayden Conner (3/6)
Did not play: RG Isaiah Adams, T Kelvin Beachum, LT Paris Johnson Jr., LG Evan Brown, C Hjalte Froholdt, T Christian Jones (injured), T Roy Mbaeteka, RT Jonah Williams
Active/PUP: G Will Hernandez
Injured reserve: Valentin Senn
Conner suffered a knee injury on the third play of the game when he was ticketed to have a lot of snaps at center. The severity is unknown. Haynesworth replaced him and not Gaines because the latter was unable to snap because of a thumb injury. The top six linemen did not play.
