Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh provided some injury updates for his roster as the Ravens are less than three weeks out from their season opener at Buffalo September 7th.

Second year outside linebacker Adisa Isaac will miss the start of the season after dislocating his elbow against Dallas Saturday. Isaac had some ligament damage that will require surgery. He could return midseason according to Harbaugh, “If it had been a dislocated elbow, clean, it would’ve been about three weeks. But since it’s not, it’s going to have to undergo surgery. It’s not a season-ender, though. Maybe midway in the season, sometime, he’ll have a chance to come back.”

The Ravens will also be down rookie tackle Emery Jones to start the season. Jones hasn’t been spotted on the field at all this year after being drafted in the third round by the Ravens out of LSU due to shoulder surgery.

“Emery’s not going to make it to the start of the regular season. I would say the surgeon, the best I can tell you, is he wants to be sure that it’s fully right, and that’s the way it should be. We respect that. And so, it’s going to take a little longer. So, we won’t be counting on him early on in the season.”

Jones is currently on the Non-Football Injury list and not eating up a roster spot.

Tight end Isaiah Likely, Harbaugh was not as forthcoming with an injury update on his broken foot. Harbaugh said, “Now, since it’s Week 1, I’m probably not going to share that as easily as some of these other ones, just because I might want to keep them guessing a little bit on that one. But, it was always going to be in that range; the first few weeks. So, that one might be a little harder to pin down. It might be harder to pin me down on that one.”

Likely was projected to potentially be back by week one or right after.
