The Arizona Cardinals have their final preseason tuneup before roster cutdowns and then the start of the regular season. They will face the Las Vegas Raiders Saturday night at State Farm Stadium.
After their starters got work in their preseason opener, they did not play on Saturday in their 27-7 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos, although the starters got the vast majority of the reps in their joint practice with the Broncos.

In preseason finales, starters typically do not play, but head coach Jonathan Gannon did not rule it out.
“I want to see how this week goes and then make a decision,” Gannon told reporters Monday.
If the starters were to go on Saturday against the Raiders, it would be the first time under Gannon they play in the finale.
So the possibility is open, although it seems unlikely, and Gannon doesn’t usually like to reveal too early in the week what his plan is.
We will keep you posted.
