The Atlanta Falcons are expected to sign free-agent quarterback Ben DiNucci to their 90-man roster. The report came from DiNucci himself, who shared the news on Twitter prior to Monday’s practice. The Falcons suffered an injury to fourth-string quarterback Emory Jones during Friday night’s preseason loss to the Tennessee Titans.
DiNucci, 28, was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL draft. He appeared in three games as a rookie (one start), passing for 219 yards on a completion rate of 53.5 percent. DiNucci hasn’t played in a regular season game since, but had short stints with the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.

The Saints most recently signed the veteran quarterback but released him ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.
