The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 0-2 in the 2025 preseason after Friday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Though the results of preseason games are largely inconsequential, the gameday experience provided Kansas City’s up-and-coming players an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in front of fans and coaches.

With most of the Chiefs’ starters riding the bench for the game, second and third-string players were given a chance to earn their spot on Kansas City’s 53-man roster.
After the game, the experts at Pro Football Focus released their grades from Friday’s contest and gave veteran tight end Robert Tonyan a mark of 89.2, which led all Chiefs players.
Though this strong performance doesn’t guarantee a spot on the 53-man roster, the ninth-year tight end has certainly given general manager Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid much to think about ahead of Kansas City’s final cuts.
