Arch Manning has denied the widespread reporting that he’s already decided to stay two more seasons at Texas before entering the NFL draft. Manning’s grandfather, Arch Manning, publicly asserted that position, which has also matched the commonly repeated expectation that he won’t declare in 2026.
“Yeah, I don’t know where he got that from,” Arch Manning said, via CJ Vogel of OnTexasFootball. “He texted me and apologized about that.
“I’m really just taking it day by day right now.”
Manning is entering his first season at the starting quarterback for Texas, who are the preseason No. 1 ranked team.
