The Jaguars are hiring Brian Xanders for a front office role, sources say. Xanders, the Broncos GM from 2009-2012, has been with the Rams as a senior personnel executive since 2017, where he worked with new Jags GM James Gladstone.

James Gladstone’s departure this offseason was bittersweet for the Los Angeles Rams. Les Snead and Sean McVay were excited to see him land an opportunity to be an NFL general manager with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they were also disappointed to lose him.
They also knew he would probably steal several coaches and front office members from their own staff, which continues to happen. According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the Jaguars are hiring Rams senior personnel executive Brian Xanders to a front office role in Jacksonville.
Xanders was previously the Broncos’ GM for four years from 2009-2012 before joining the Rams in 2017, where he’s remained ever since. Like Gladstone, he’s worked closely with Snead on the draft over the years, specializing in outside linebackers.
Xanders is the latest member of the Rams to leave L.A. and join the Jaguars’ front office or coaching staff. Jake Temme was also hired by Gladstone this offseason and Liam Coen, the Jaguars’ head coach, brought in former Rams assistant Shane Waldron to be his pass game coordinator.
