The Arizona Cardinals made a roster move on Tuesday, although they did not announce it. It appeared on the NFL transaction report.
They waived receiver Kelly Akharaiyi, whom they signed just last week. He did not get into the Cardinals’ 27-7 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos on Wednesday.

The Cardinals brought in a pair of interior offensive linemen for tryouts, which is probably related to the knee injury to rookie guard Hayden Conner.
With the preseason finale coming, they have enough receivers who can play, as evidenced by the fact that they didn’t need Akharaiyi against the Broncos.
The Cardinals have roster decisions to make, as they and the rest of the NFL must cut rosters down to 53 players by Tuesday afternoon next week.
