Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki joins beat reporter Kelsey Conway to promote the Freestore Foodbank’s annual Taste of the Bengals event.
Free-agent guard Dalton Risner worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals, and is expected to visit the Seattle Seahawks and possibly the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a report via Twitter/X from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler added that Risner wants to take multiple visits before making a decision about signing.
Bengals guard Cordell Volson, injured during training camp, did not play in Cincinnati’s second preseason game, on Monday Night Football against Washington. Versatile offensive lineman Cody Ford also was unavailable Monday night because of injury.
In addition, Lucas Patrick was replaced by rookie Jalen Rivers during the game. Head coach Zac Taylor told reporters after the game that Patrick was “dinged up.”
In April, Risner said in a TikTok live video that the Bengals and Denver Broncos were among NFL teams to which he had talked. Risner turned 30 years old in July.
Risner, who has played guard throughout his six NFL seasons, also said the Minnesota Vikings have shown interest in bringing him back.
The 6-foot-5, 312-pound Risner played in 25 games over the past two seasons for the Vikings, with 19 starts. He started all 62 games he played for the Broncos over his first four NFL seasons.
Risner was selected by Denver in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft, one pick before the Broncos took quarterback Drew Lock.
