The University at Albany football team will be handing the keys of the offense to a new signal caller in 2025, as senior quarterback Jack Shields was named the starter by interim head coach Jared Ambrose earlier this week. “He’s got game,” Ambrose said on why UAlbany went with Shields. “Consistently throughout camp, Jack was protecting the ball, operating the offense, making plays.
