The Miami Dolphins have finally returned home to hot and humid South Florida after a long two week road trip to Chicago to practice against and play the Bears — and then to Detroit where they practiced against and played the Lions.
While no orange jersey awards are dished out during joint practices as the coaching staff doesn’t want an unnecessary target placed on any one player’s back, the brightly colored threads made their return to Dolphins practice on Wednesday.

Who was dressed for success?
Miami’s starting center, Aaron Brewer!
Today’s recognition was the second time this offseason that Brewer was given the orange jersey which notes the best practice performer from the previous day’s session. He was also the recipient during the team’s third session of organized team activities.
As the team continues their march towards the regular season, plenty of eyes are on the offensive line. With a successful group of big men up front, a team can dominate the line of scrimmage and run the ball effectively, while also keeping their quarterback upright. Miami’s offensive line has been a weakness for the club for the past couple of seasons — in part due to injuries — however, this year’s unit looks to be a stronger one overall with the additions of James Daniels and Jonah Savaiinaea, plus the upwards development of Patrick Paul and Brewer.
