A large number of Cardinals players have financial incentive to participate in the offseason program
The Arizona Cardinals began the second phase of their offseason program on Monday. They have good participation, based on what they have shared on their social media channels.
But there is good reason.
Many of the players have financial incentive to participate in the offseason program. In total, 26 players have workout bonuses worked into their contracts.
Most notable is quarterback Kyler Murray, who had millions in his contract extension tied into participating in the offseason program. This, of course, came after he sat out of most volunteer offseason work in 2022.
Most the workout bonuses are relatively small — $50,000 (yes, that is small in NFL terms).
Let’s see who all gets workout bonuses for the Cardinals.
