Tommy: Completely agree, Robert. And that’s from a wholistic view, because there are some position groups on the roster that I feel like are pretty deep (EDGE, LB, WR, etc.) It’s the ones that aren’t, namely cornerback, defensive tackle and offensive line that raise the concern in my opinion. The last two places you want to be thin at are in the trenches, and I think the Cowboys are thin there. I mean, they ran a formation several times against the Ravens with four defensive ends standing up at the line of scrimmage and no defensive tackles. Sure, that could just be experimenting, but it’s not a great sign for their depth at all. Of course, quarterback is also a blinking light because of the lack of experience behind Dak Prescott and the struggles we’ve seen throughout the preseason from both Joe Milton and Will Grier. Starters staying healthy will once again be one of the most important and telling aspects of the Cowboys’ upcoming season.
