The Buffalo Bills on Thursday held their final practice before the last preseason game, where cornerback Tre’Davious White hobbled off the field at Highmark Stadium — a concerning development for the veteran corner.
#Bills CB Tre’Davious White left practice in the stadium after an apparent injury. He was hopping on one leg after a play in team reps and was helped off by Mitch Trubisky. He punched the pads on the wall then walked to locker room gingerly. A cart later took him up the ramp.

It happened during team reps, a portion of practice media is not allowed to record.
White was hopping on one leg after a play and teammates helped him off the field. He then walked up the tunnel on his own with a trainer, and a few minutes later, a cart took him up the ramp and out of the stadium. There is no word on what the apparent injury is at this point.
“I’m just hoping he’s OK,” said cornerback Dane Jackson. “That’s my number one thing. I don’t want to see anyone ever go down and get injured, including myself. So I’m just hoping he’s OK. Everything that he went through, I want him to have the best season that he’s ever had, so I’m just praying for him for sure.”
White walked up the ramp initially with a trainer next to him, then stood on the ramp for a few minutes before he left the tunnel on a cart.

After a decorated start to his tenure with the Bills, being named to multiple All-Pro teams, White’s career since has been marked by injuries, tearing his ACL during the 2021 season and tearing his Achilles tendon in 2023.
The fan-favorite was released by the Bills in 2024, but returned to the team this offseason after spending the last year with the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens.
Head coach Sean McDermott yet to announce how much if at all the starters will play Saturday night against Tampa Bay, but one thing we do know, quarterback Josh Allen will not play, as the Bills decided to hold the reigning league MVP out of all three preseason games.
“I feel like he’s shown to this point that he’s in a good spot,” said McDermott. “Listen, he’s always going to want to play, that’s what competitive people do, they want to play, but I have a responsibility as well to protect him and in doing so protect our team.”
The Bills close out the preseason against the Buccaneers on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Roster cuts are due by next Tuesday afternoon.
