The 2025 NFL regular season is almost here, but the Atlanta Falcons still have one final preseason test against the Dallas Cowboys. After opening the preseason with two consecutive home games, the Falcons will close things out on the road at AT&T Stadium. Friday night’s finale kicks off at 8 p.m. ET.
Atlanta lost its first two exhibitions to Detroit and Tennessee, but head coach Raheem Morris‘ team has shown good fight in both games. Despite the growing trend around the NFL to play starters, the Falcons have taken a cautious approach through their first two matchups, and we expect more of the same against the Cowboys.

Fans can tune into the game on NFL Network, or locally on FOX. Easton Stick and former Cowboys quarterback Ben DiNucci are set to split reps on Friday night, but the right tackle is the position that Falcons fans will be focused on.
Kaleb McGary had to be carted off the field during Wednesday’s practice. Making matters worse, backup Storm Norton (ankle) is set to miss 6-8 weeks. All eyes will be on rookie Jack Nelson and veteran Brandon Parker.

Falcons vs. Cowboys: Preseason start time
Friday’s preseason finale kicks off at 8 p.m. ET. After the game, the teams will shift their focus to Tuesday’s 53-man roster deadline. The Falcons have some tough decisions to make, especially at wide receiver and defensive back. Keep an eye on former top-10 pick C.J. Henderson and cornerback Natrone Brooks.
