The Tennessee Titans have flown under the radar throughout the offseason and are widely overlooked by the national media. Even after getting the first overall selection in the draft and picking Cam Ward, there was no buzz, no hype, surrounding him or the organization.
Things slowly started to change early in training camp when insider Ian Rapoport attended practice at Nissan Stadium and came away with a sense of optimism and shared it on social media. However, there is one national media member who has been consistent with his optimistic outlook, and that is Good Morning Football’s Kyle Brandt.

Not only has Brandt talked openly about the lack of coverage of Ward, he has trumpeted the positive changes taking place in Nashville. In a recent episode, he did it again when talking about the teams heating up.
“It’s a very interesting opener. It’s a late window 4 o’clock eastern kickoff at Denver.” Brandt said, “That is not an easy game, that is a hard place to play, that is a very good defense, and very good coach, (but) they have the potential to be the oh my god win of Week 1, if the Titans take that win.”
With Tennessee not playing in primetime during the regular season, these national late-window games will be their chance to shine and prove to the league that they made a mistake by discounting them. At this point, it is hard to predict whether or not that will happen, but it is a possibility.
