Green has played some of his best football this preseason. He’s allowed just three catches on 10 targets, adding three pass breakups and three stops (a tackle constituting an unsuccessful play for the offense), via PFF. Last game, he allowed just one reception for three yards on five targets. He is fighting for a roster spot in the cornerback room, a position group that defensive coordinator Chris Shula has said is very competitive.
