Wisconsin football extended an offer to class of 2028 athlete Brady Powell on Tuesday.

The Badgers are one of the first programs to offer the high school freshman, joining Arizona and UTSA.

Brady Powell is notably the younger brother of four-star class of 2026 offensive lineman Logan Powell, who joined the Badgers with their class of 2025. Logan was one of the program’s top additions of the cycle, ranked as the No. 389 overall player in the class, No. 24 interior offensive lineman and No. 4 player from Arizona. Brady, meanwhile, has yet to receive a star or position ranking, given that his class is still several years away from the college level.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound athlete currently plays tight end for Brophy College Prep. Wisconsin tight ends coach Nate Letton is among those in contact, potentially signaling his long-term position projection at the college level.

Wisconsin is still ramping up its efforts in the class of 2026. At this stage in the cycle, the program has just six committed players. That group currently ranks No. 43 nationally.

The Badgers are looking for their third consecutive top-25 finish in the national recruiting rankings. To do so, the program will need a flawless effort during the fast-approaching summer official visit season.
