Aaron Rodgers previously stated that several personal matters required his attention before he could make a decision regarding the Steelers — and one of those reasons may have been revealed at the 2025 Kentucky Derby: the four-time MVP might have gotten married.

Fans were quick to spot Rodgers wearing a wedding band during a photo op at the event, and speculation ran rampant — enough that one of his close friends, Pat McAfee, addressed it on his podcast.

On the most recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, another close friend of Rodgers, A.J. Hawk, was asked whether the Kentucky Derby served as a wedding party — and this was his response:

“It was not a wedding party, from what we knew. All of us were a bit surprised — we showed up as well. To tell you the truth, I don’t really know. I don’t know if I have any answers for you when it comes to that situation. He’s very private and mysterious when it comes to things like that — and this is definitely one of those, for sure,” Hawk said with a chuckle.

Is this the major personal matter Rodgers previously referenced? And if so, is a Steelers signing now imminent — or will the four-time MVP choose retirement now that his private marriage is beginning to go public?

Regardless, congratulations are certainly in order for the newly wedded Rodgers and his wife.
