The Minnesota Vikings close out their 2025 preseason tonight against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. 

The Titans will use this final exhibition as a broader evaluation. Rookie QB Cam Ward leads center stage for Tennessee, which also features a bolstered offensive line. Ward got into a scuffle with defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons at practice on Monday, which the No. 1 overall pick attributed to their intensity.

“It was fun, and I think it was what we needed. We love competing, just with me and Jeff, and I’m excited to have that man as my teammate,” said Ward.

In Minnesota, quarterback J.J. McCarthy is already cemented as the Week 1 starter. Now, all eyes shift to identifying his true backups — Max Brosmer, Sam Howell, and Brett Rypien are battling for depth roles.

Meanwhile, wide receiver depth is under question, especially with Jordan Addison suspended. Minnesota is reportedly pursuing trade options to make up for its receiving deficiencies.
