They may be a rebuilt engine, but the Kiel football team looked like the Raider teams of the past few seasons as they cruised to a 27-0 win over Sheboygan Falls Friday night in the season opener at Fifrick Field.

Quarterback Brady Kienbaum threw first TD passes of 12 and 22 yards to Ryan Holz and Mason Schaefer tacked on second half scoring runs of 5 and 38 yards for a Kiel team that was returning just eight players from their 11-1 team of a year ago.

The Raider defense used a late goal line stand to keep their shutout intact.

Kiel travels to play a strong Berlin team next Friday at Berlin.
