Burton was out there with the backups to start the game and eventually limped off after a punt return.

After the game, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed a knee injury, though didn’t comment on severity for now.

Burton spent the offseason bouncing back from a rough rookie campaign as a pro and was well on his way to a final roster spot, likely just behind Andrei Iosvias in the base offense and as a returner on special teams.
Ahead of final cuts, any serious Burton injury would shake up final roster projections ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
