We’ve seen plenty of NFL sideline reporters become fan favorites over the years. With that said, Erin Burr of FOX4 is quickly elevating her brand this preseason.
On Friday night, the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears squared off at Arrowhead Stadium. Three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes looked sharp in limited action, completing 8-of-13 passes for 143 yards with a touchdown. He completed a 58-yard pass to former second-round pick Tyquan Thornton that had fans on their feet.

The Chiefs ultimately fell short to the Bears due to an incredible performance from backup quarterback Tyson Bagent. He had 212 passing yards and three touchdowns. He capped off a game-winning drive with a six-yard touchdown pass to Jahdae Walker with only three seconds remaining on the clock.
Although the Chiefs were on the wrong side of the scoreboard, Burr finished the night as a big winner.

Burr’s impressive sports background.
Friday night wasn’t the start of Burr’s journey as a reporter. She has been covering sports since she graduated from the University of Florida in 2023. Prior to landing a gig at FOX4 in Kansas City, she was with TV20 in Gainesville, Florida.
“Within weeks, she landed her first job at WCJB and quickly dove headfirst into the action. From Billy Napier’s first-year rebuild with Gator football to the , and both baseball and softball making historic College World Series runs, Taylor had a front-row seat to it all. And one of her favorite moments? Watching the Florida men’s basketball team bring home a national championship,” her bio for FOX4 states.

Burr will get to showcase her reporting skills throughout the 2025 NFL season. It’s unclear though if she’ll make the trip to Brazil for Kansas City’s season opener.
That being said, Burr should be at Arrowhead for the Kansas City Chiefs’ home opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 14. It wouldn’t surprise us at all if she goes
