Take a look back at the Colts win the preseason finale against the Bengals with some highlights and insights from the performance.

Just like that, the Indianapolis Colts’ 2025 preseason is now behind us. Next up for the Colts and the rest of the NFL are roster cuts, with each team needing to have thier 53-man rosters set by Tuesday afternoon.

However, before we look ahead and make our final predictions, let’s take a look back at Saturday’s impressive 41-14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

This was a game where we saw a few backups–and one starter in Matt Goncalves–but it was mostly played by the Colts’ third and fourth string players.

Rookie quarterback Riley Leonard put together an impressive first-half performance where he completed 15-of-20 passes for 189 yards while generating two explosive pass plays, including a 59-yarder for a touchdown.

Overall, Leonard operated well within the rhythm of the play, and Shane Steichen used his mobility to his advantage by getting him out of the pocket on a few plays.

The Colts’ defense held the Bengals’ passing game in check, giving up fewer than 100 yards, but the Indianapolis defense struggled to contain the Cincinnati run game. When it was all said and done, the Bengals rushed for 132 yards on just 23 attempts.

A few of the standout performers who made a strong final roster push with their play were Isaiah Land, Daniel Scott, and Treadwell.

One of the big takeaways from this game was what the starting lineups on offense and defense might have told us when it comes to some of those final roster decisions.
