CLEVELAND, Ohio — In the NFL, certain injuries carry more significance than others, regardless of the player’s name recognition. The knee injury to Browns center Ethan Pocic in Saturday’s preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams falls squarely into that category — a potentially devastating blow to what had been considered one of Cleveland’s most reliable strengths.
Pocic, who left the stadium with his leg wrapped and wearing a knee brace, will undergo further testing Sunday. While head coach Kevin Stefanski didn’t express immediate concern post-game, the Browns beat reporters covering the team identified this as potentially the most significant development from an otherwise forgettable preseason finale.
