Former New England Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden said goodbye to the Patriots organization on Instagram following his release on Friday afternoon.

Bolden was drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft. However, a scary preseason injury cut his season short that same year.

He was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad and promoted to the active roster in 2024. He played in 14 games, primarily on special teams, and tallied 10 tackles and a fumble recovery on the year.

“Me vs Me Appreciate you New England these last 3 years,” Bolden posted on social media after his release.

Bolden got caught up in an early wave of massive roster cuts ahead of the August 26 deadline. All NFL teams are required to trim their rosters down to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET.

Patriots coach Mike Vrabel announced 14 players had been informed of their release. Many more will follow in the coming days.
