The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are parting ways with former sixth-round draft pick Outside Linebacker Jose Ramirez.
“Another cut for the Bucs — OLB Jose Ramirez, a former sixth-round draft pick who has been on the practice squad for the last two years, has been waived as part of today’s first wave of roster moves.”
Ramirez’s release isn’t surprising given the Buccaneers’ depth at linebacker and the need to finalize their roster. He may be considered for the practice squad, allowing the team to retain his rights and potentially bring him back if needed.
