The Green Bay Packers aren’t waiting around for roster cuts to make an addition along the offensive line. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Packers have agreed to send a sixth-round pick in the 2027 draft to the Philadelphia Eagles for 25-year-old offensive tackle Darian Kinnard.

Kinnard visited the Packers before the 2022 NFL draft but ended up as a fifth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 145 overall. He has played in just three regular season games during his first three NFL seasons: one with the Chiefs in 2022, and two with the Eagles, including one start, in 2024. Because he was a member of the Chiefs from 2022 to 2023 and Eagles in 2024, Kinnard is a three-time Super Bowl champion.

He’ll go for his fourth straight title with the Packers in 2025.

Kinnard played 68 snaps at right tackle in the Eagles’ season finale win over the New York Giants last season, allowing one sack and three total pressures. Kinnard spent the 2023 season on the Chiefs practice squad.

At Kentucky, Kinnard was a two-time All-SEC pick and a consensus All-American in 2021. The Packers had him in Green Bay as one of their 30 visits before the 2022 draft.

The Packers are dealing with several injuries and questionable depth along the offensive line entering roster cutdowns on Tuesday. The arrival of Kinnard — given he passes a physical — will likely mean he slots in as the eigth or ninth offensive lineman on the 53-man roster come Tuesday.

Kinnard played 101 snaps — 70 snaps at right guard, 31 at right tackle — for the Eagles this preseason. He allowed six total pressures.
