EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced they have waived tackle Leroy Watson IV and punter Oscar Chapman.
Minnesota is in the process of trimming its roster to the NFL maximum of 53 players by 3 p.m. (CT) Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Watson joined Minnesota’s practice squad at the end of the 2024 season and stayed with the team through the offseason.
Chapman, a native of Australia who played college football at Auburn, joined the Vikings through the International Player Pathway program this spring. He competed with incumbent punter/holder Ryan Wright during training camp.
