LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Manheim man is facing charges after he reportedly convinced a victim to purchase thousands of dollars worth of football tickets.

According to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department, Paul Grant Murray, 27, convinced a victim to purchase Eagles season tickets for $4,400.

Police said Murray never provided the tickets to the victim after the purchase.

Murray also reportedly left an M&T bank check for the victim to refund the money, but when they went to cash the check, the account had been closed.

Murray was charged with three counts of theft by deception, and bad checks, according to police.
