The Green Bay Packers announced the signing of 13 players to the team’s practice squad on Wednesday. All 13 players were with the Packers in training camp, including linebacker Kristian Welch, receiver Mecole Hardman and international kicker Mark McNamee.

Because McNamee doesn’t count as an International Pathway Program player, the Packers can have 17 players on the practice squad, so four other signings are still coming. Among the outside signings already reported are quarterback Clayton Tune and offensive lineman Dalton Cooper. They will need to pass physicals in Green Bay before officially signed.

The Packers signed the following players on Wednesday:

Among the notables are Abanikanda, a 2023 fifth-round pick who impressed the Packers as a kickoff returner during the preseason; Hardman, a three-time Super Bowl champion with versatility and experience at returner; Mosby, who was one of the Packers’ core special teamers last year; and Welch, a Wisconsin native who has been solid each of the last two summers in Green Bay and can play multiple special teams roles. Baldwin and Johnson were both priority undrafted free agents following the 2025 draft.

The Packers passed on returning quarterbacks Taylor Elgersma and Sean Clifford and will go in a different route at quarterback on the practice squad. The expected path forward is Tune, who, like Clifford, is also a 2023 fifth-round pick. He played the last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
