FOXBORO, MA (WJAR) — It’s been a busy 24 hours for the Patriots. After announcing their 53-man roster Tuesday evening, the team released wide receivers Kendrick Bourne and Javon Baker,

Bourne spent the last four seasons with the Patriots, totaling 155 receptions, 1,945 yards, and 11 touchdowns. Baker, a 2024 fourth-round pick, is expected to re-sign with the Patriots and join their practice squad.

The team also added to their quarterback room, adding former Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito to the roster. DeVito is expected to battle Joshua Dobbs for the backup quarterback role behind Drake Maye.

And making the Patriots roster, two undrafted free agents to their roster, linebacker Elijah Ponder and wide receiver Efton Chism III.
