Malachi Corley finds new team after being cut by the New York Jets

The New York Jets no longer have to worry about the progress of receiver Malachi Corley.

Despite being a third-round pick just one year ago at the 2024 NFL draft, the team has decided to cut its losses… sincerely.

When the Jets announced their 53-man roster following the NFL’s 2025 deadline on Tuesday, Corley was not among the roster.

Corley then cleared waivers and was not claimed by any team.

But he has found a new home.

Corley eventually latched on with the Cleveland Browns, signing with their practice squad:
