The Atlanta Falcons released their first 53-man roster on Tuesday afternoon, and now it’s time for the team to fill out its 16-man practice squad. Expect to see many of the same players who were waived or released at Tuesday’s deadline return to Atlanta over the next 24 hours.
The team has announced 14 practice squad signings, including kicker Lenny Krieg, wide receiver Nick Nash and cornerback Cobee Bryant. The Falcons also completed their trade for Seahawks offensive tackle Michael Jerrell and reportedly added two more offensive lineman to the practice squad.

While he missed the cut due to Atlanta’s suddenly competitive edge group, expect Kareem to play a role this season at some point if injuries hit.Falcons sign Kentavius StreetStreet is someone we projected to make the team’s initial 53-man roster, but the Falcons kept just five defensive lineman. He should provide valuable depth on the interior.Falcons sign OL Brandon ParkerParker did not play well in the preseason, but he gives the team depth at its weakest position (right tackle).Falcons sign TE Joshua SimonSimon was released at the cut deadline. The Falcons went with Feleipe Franks for their fourth tight end spot instead.Falcons sign OL Joshua GrayGray is an undrafted free agent with immense upside. While his release was expected, the Falcons are lucky to get the developmental offensive lineman back on the practice squad.Falcons sign LB Ronnie HarrisonHarrison, a former third-round draft pick, gives the team some depth at linebacker. The Falcons only kept four linebackers on their initial 53-man roster.Falcons sign WR Dylan DrummondDrummond was part of the team’s wide receiver competition. While he wasn’t projected to make the roster, Drummond was a consistent contributor in the preseason.Falcons sign WR Chris BlairBlair had another solid preseason but still was left off the 53-man roster. The former undrafted free agent now returns to Atlanta on the practice squad for the second year in a row.Falcons sign RB Carlos Washington (Report)Washington was one of the team’s surprise cuts at Tuesday’s deadline. Many projected him to win the team’s No. 3 running back job out of camp, but that spot went to undrafted free agent Nate Carter. Washington is the first running back added to the practice squad thus far.Falcons sign CB C.J. Henderson (Report)Henderson, a former top-10 pick, signed with Atlanta late in camp. While it was somewhat surprising that Henderson was released given his experience, the teaFalcons sign OL Carter Warren (Report)According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Falcons are signing former Jets fourth-round pick Carter Warren. New York released him ahead of Tuesday’s cut deadline.Falcons sign OL Ryan Hayes (Report)Hayes was drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins. He should give the Falcons more depth at the offensive tackle position. The Falcons placed both Kaleb McGary and Storm Norton on IR. McGary is out for the year.Falcons sign QB Easton Stick (Report)Stick led the NFL in passing yards during the 2025 preseason. He was one of the team’s biggest surprise cuts at the roster deadline. The Falcons kept just two quarterbacks, so there’s a good chance he’ll be signed to the roster at some point, especially if Kirk Cousins is traded.Falcons sign CB Cobee Bryant (Report)Bryant, a projected mid-round draft pick, was arguably the team’s most coveted undrafted free agent. The former Kansas standout recorded eight combined interceptions over his final two seasons at Kansas.Falcons sign WR Nick Nash (Report)Nash was an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State. He played well in the preseason but was left on the outside looking in when roster cuts were made. In Atlanta’s preseason finale, Nash led the team with six catches for 87 receiving yards. He is the Falcons’ first reported practice squad signing. (READ MORE)Every Falcons player cut at deadline
