The Houston Texans are done making moves.
Well, at least they are until next week ahead of Sunday’s Week 1 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Texans cut down their roster to 53 players ahead of the NFL’s deadline on Tuesday, and added 16 players for their practice squad on Wednesday afternoon. Fifteen of the players were among those cut on Tuesday afternoon, while the last name was a former player who was waived earlier this offseason in favor of a healthy body in camp.

The Texans were also able to retain defensive Haggai Ndubuisi because he counts toward the NFL international player program. Houston still has room for at least two more practice squad players, though there’s no promise they will use up all spots.
