2:09 p.m. — The Giants claimed safety Beau Brade (Ravens) and cornerback Rico Payton (Saints) off waivers. The second-year pros were released by their respective teams leading up to the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline on Tuesday. In corresponding moves, the Giants waived rookie cornerback Korie Black, the team’s final pick of this year’s draft, and terminated the contract of veteran wide receiver Gunner Olszewski. Meanwhile, the Giants began to fill out their practice squad with 13 players, all of whom spent the offseason with the team.
