When Titans rookies hit the practice field for mini-camp next week, many eyes will be focused on quarterback Cam Ward and the three pass-catchers the team drafted in the fourth round last month.

But there will be plenty of under-the-radar battles going on as well, many fought by the 17 reported undrafted free agents the team has added since the draft.

Some will undoubtedly contribute this season, just as players like wide receiver Bryce Oliver, tight end David Martin-Robinson and edge rusher Khalid Duke — among others — produced from last year’s crop of undrafted free agents.

Other undrafted free agents who’ve made an impact for the Titans in recent years include offensive lineman Aaron Brewer, defense linemen Teair Tart and Naquon Jones, wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, linebackers Otis Reese IV and Jack Gibbens, cornerback Tre Avery and punter Ryan Stonehouse.

Here are five that may stand out this season, along with an unofficial list of all the undrafted free agents signed by the Titans:

Player: Xavier Restrepo

Position: Wide receiver

School: Miami

Ht, wt: 5-10, 202

What to know: Restrepo will be a classic case of how well college production translates to the NFL, for a player whose measurements are far from ideal. Playing with Titans No. 1 draft pick Cam Ward last season at Miami, Restrepo caught 69 passes for ACC-best marks of 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns. He averaged 16.3 yards per reception and was named a third team All American … But Restrepo’s chances at getting drafted probably died at his Pro Day, when he ran a 4.85 40-yard dash. The fact that he’s 5-10 and has 29-3/8 inches arms didn’t help his cause either … There was huge variation in Restrepo’s estimated value going into the draft. Pro Football Focus ranked him as the 77th best overall prospect, worthy of a third-round pick. The Athletic ranked him 212th overall, worthy of a sixth- or seventh-round selection … But Restrepo has at least two things going for him: One is his chemistry with Ward, who was reportedly vocal about his desires for the team to draft Restrepo. The second is the Titans’ need for a good slot receiver. Restrepo piled up 1,038 receiving yards out of the slot last season, third in the nation. He’s drawn more than a few comparisons to former New England Patriots great Julian Edelman.

Player: Cam Horsley

Position: Defensive tackle

School: Boston College

Ht, wt: 6-3, 312

What to know: NFL.com ranked Horsley as the best defensive tackle available among the undrafted free agents, while The Athletic rated Horsley as a fifth-round draft pick. Pro Football Focus gave Horsley an 87.0 grade against the run over the past two seasons, a top 20 mark in the nation … Horsley built an especially strong reputation against the run in five seasons at Boston College, piling up 16.5 tackles for loss over the past three seasons. Playing primarily in the B gap between tackle and guard, Horsley frequently stymied offensive linemen and wrapped up running backs, piling up a combined 83 tackles in 24 games over the past two seasons … Horsley’s shortcoming is a lack of production as a pass rusher. He totaled only 3.5 sacks in 59 contests. But Horsley did show good timing and anticipation, knocking down six passes over the past two seasons.

Player: Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson

Position: Tackle

School: Florida

Ht, wt: 6-7, 316

What to know: Pro Football Focus ranked Crenshaw-Dickson as the 163rd-best draft prospect overall, which would have landed him in the fifth round. The Athletic rated him as a seventh-round prospect. NFL.com ranked him the 10th-best available undrafted free agent tackle available … The 24-year-old Crenshaw-Dickson has a boatload of experience, as he was a three-year starter at San Diego State before transferring to Florida for his final season. In 337 pass-blocking snaps last season, the long-armed Crenshaw-Dickson (34-inch arms) surrendered just one sack and 11 quarterback hurries, earning an 81.8 pass-blocking grade from PFF. He was strong in the run game as well, grading out at 78.3 … Another plus for Crenshaw-Dickson is his versatility: He played 941 snaps at right tackle and 1,121 snaps at left tackle … The critiques on Crenshaw-Dickson tend to center on his lack of athleticism and mobility, which hamper him at times in the pass and run game … But Crenshaw-Dickson was clearly valued around the league, as he received $255,000 guaranteed money to sign with the Titans, per Spotrac, a figure that is Tennessee’s largest reported sum for an undrafted free agent to date this season.

Player: Jalen Kimber

Position: Cornerback

School: Penn State

Ht, wt: 6-0, 190

What to know: NFL.com ranked Kimber as the sixth-best cornerback available among the undrafted free agents. He ranked 42nd among all available cornerbacks in the draft pool, per The Athletic, which gave him a free agent grade … Kimber ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at his Pro Day, showing the kind of speed needed to match NFL receivers. He started 26 games against high-level competition over the past two seasons, totaling 23 tackles and five passes defensed for Florida in 2023 before adding 37 tackles and three passes defensed for Penn State in 2024 … He totaled only one interception in 44 college games, but made it count, returning it 39 yards for a touchdown against South Florida in 2022 … Kimber has shown an ability to play both in the slot and on the outside … The most common critiques of Kimber are his lack of strength in pass coverage and his lack of anticipation … But that speed should help him vie for a special teams spot.

Player: Jermari Harris

Position: Cornerback

School: Iowa

Ht, wt: 6-0, 191

What to know: The Athletic ranked him the 35th-best cornerback among all draft prospects, rating him as a free agent. Among undrafted free agents, NFL.com ranked Harris as the 16th-best available, 10 slots below Kimber. He received a $244,000 signing bonus from the Titans, per Spotrac, second highest of the Titans’ reported UDFA contracts to date … Harris managed to find himself around the football frequently during his final three seasons for the Hawkeyes, piling up 27 passes defensed and eight interceptions in 36 games (28 starts). He also earned a reputation as a hard hitter, totaling 103 tackles over his last three seasons … Harris will have to overcome a lack of high-level speed, however, as he ran a 4.65 40-yard dash at his Pro Day … There are also a couple of red flags worth noting: Harris was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated in April 2022, and he was suspended for two games in 2023 following an NCAA investigation into gambling within Iowa’s program.
