It has been well-documented that the New York Giants‘ 2025 schedule is particularly challenging. Their opponents combined for the highest winning percentage (2024 records) of any other 17-game schedule in the league.
The Giants will start their season with back-to-back road games against two division rivals, the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys. Then, in Week 3, the Giants will be at home at MetLife Stadium to host the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice would be suspended for the first six games of the 2025 NFL season, which includes the Giants’ home opener in Week 3.
The Chiefs will likely be heavy favorites ahead of the Week 3 matchup with the Giants. However, the suspension will certainly help the Giants’ chances of pulling off the upset.
Rice was involved in a high-speed car accident in March of 2024, which led to the suspension.
With the schedule being as difficult as it is, especially during the first half of their schedule, the Giants will take all the help that they can get
