Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones has been one of the league’s most dominant players, and his selection on the “NFL Top 100” program was certainly guaranteed after unparalleled success at his position.
The No. 12 ranking is high, and it is close to being considered a top-ten player in the league. The veteran defensive lineman continues to demand respect for his ferocious play in the trenches. Since being drafted out of Mississippi State in 2016, he’s been a leader on defense, propelling Steve Spagnuolo’s unit.
Last season, Jones earned his third consecutive first-team All-Pro selection and sixth straight Pro Bowl invitation. He finished the 2024 regular season with five sacks and 37 tackles in 15 games. The veteran defender doesn’t care much for individual accolades as he pursues another Super Bowl title in the 2025 season.Produced by NFL Films, the NFL Top 100 will feature three to five-minute episodes highlighting the league’s top 100 players, voted on exclusively by current NFL players.
