As the Baltimore Ravens and other teams made their final roster cuts ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, it opened the door for many players to find a change of scenery.

For one former Ravens quarterback, that change of scenery is a familiar one as Tyler Huntley is returning to Baltimore.

Huntley visited the Ravens on Wednesday and left with a contract in hand, replacing Devin Leary as the team’s No. 3 QB behind Lamar Jackson and Cooper Rush.

The former Utah Utes signal-caller went undrafted in 2020 and signed with the Ravens before landing on the practice squad

Huntley spent the next four seasons in Baltimore, appearing in 20 games with nine starts and earning Pro Bowl honors in 2022 before being claimed off the practice squad by the Miami Dolphins last offseason.

He made five starts in five appearances for Miami last season, throwing for 829 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions while completing 64.7 percent of his passes.

Huntley has had two stints on the Cleveland Browns’ offseason roster, too, between last offseason and this year.

His most recent signing makes three stints with the Ravens including earlier this offseason before being claimed by the Browns.

The Ravens will open the 2025 campaign on Sept. 7 against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football in Orchard Park, NY.
